EMMS clinical tools — including EMMS MedCalc, EMMS Medical Report, and the EMMS Stock & Asset Register — are designed to support clinical decision-making and operational management in emergency and critical care environments. These tools are intended as supplementary aids. They do not replace clinical judgment, professional training, or institutional protocols.

All clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the qualified healthcare professional using the tool. EMMS tools provide reference calculations, documentation frameworks, and operational support — they do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Users must verify all outputs against current clinical guidelines, institutional protocols, and their own professional judgment before acting on any information provided.

EMMS tools are designed for use by qualified medical professionals with appropriate training and clinical experience. They are not intended to substitute for formal clinical education, supervised practice, or professional accreditation.

While EMMS tools are developed with clinical accuracy as a primary objective and are validated by clinicians with emergency medicine experience, no software tool can account for all clinical variables, patient-specific factors, or evolving guidelines. Some EMMS tools are currently in beta testing or active development. Tools in these phases have not yet completed full clinical validation and should be used with additional caution. Users of beta tools are encouraged to report any concerns, errors, or unexpected behaviour through the EMMS contact page.

In life-threatening emergencies, always follow your institution's emergency protocols and escalation pathways. Do not delay emergency treatment to consult a digital tool.
